These days DIYers have access to how-to videos, written tutorials and podcasts to help them conquer any project. If you’re looking for inspiration for your next project, want to communicate with other DIYers or just need some instructions for a DIY project you have, you’re covered here at I’ve gathered up a list of my top choice DIY sites available that will keep your creativity at its peak!

DIY Network

It’s probably not a surprise to anyone that the DIY Network would make my list for the top DIY sites. The experts on the DIY network not only share their knowledge and techniques through tutorials and videos, but their available inspiration projects is simply gigantic. I tend to stick to their furniture decorating category, but they have something for everyone looking for help with a DIY project.

Do It Yourself

I could spend hours on the Do It Yourself site. What I love most about this site is that they have user submitted projects called “Did It Myself”. I don’t know about you, but sometimes the experts have access to things I might not, and with this site, I love seeing projects that regular people, just like you and I, have completed. There is also forum community happening over there as well with experts available to ask questions of as well as many of the general community chiming in as well. Overall a great place to hang out.

DIY On the Cheap

I absolutely love going to DIY On the Cheap because while the owner, Erin, does do some painted furniture projects, she is more about sharing her ideas for all home decorating ideas on a budget. What I love about her blog is that she is isn’t a designer, she’s just like you and me, a regular DIYer trying to make her house beautiful on a budget.

Centsational Girl

Another thrifty shopper, Centsational Girl is a fantastic DIY blog with tons of projects to do. I originally found out about this website during the holidays while looking for holiday DIY projects and she’s got a ton of great ideas for any holiday, so definitely check it out.
